本书还为各系统穿插了内容纲要，该“纲要”是根据系统解剖学教学大纲和全国规划教材新版本(第5版和第6版)的内容，结合作者多年的教学经验，高度概括和总结了系统解剖学的基本内容，以提纲条目，关系树图、分类表格等形式表达，内容不仅丰富面广，而且具有重点突出、条理明晰、言简意赅、形式新颖的特点，便于学生理解记忆，在阅读教材的基础上，有助于更好地领会和掌握系统解剖学的基本内容。
